Fog is a gift to a photographer and a disaster to anyone who has paid for a mountain view. We spent the morning talking Tara down and the afternoon making the best pictures of our year.
You could hear the vows better than you could see them.
Everything soft, everything grey, forty guests in bright wool appearing and disappearing at fifteen feet. The couple stood in a white room with no horizon behind them and the photographs came out looking like drawings.
